【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestherequirementsforfactorymadeproductsofexpandedpolystyrenewhichareusedforfrostinsulationofroads,railways,traffickedareas,lightweightfillforreductionofhorizontalandverticalearthpressureandothercivilengineeringapplications.Theproductsaremanufacturedintheformofboardsorblocks.Thestandardalsocoversspeciallycutshapedboardsorblocks.Thestandarddescribesproductcharacteristicsandincludesproceduresfortesting,evaluationofconformity,markingandlabelling.Thestandarddoesnotspecifytherequiredclassorlevelofagivenpropertytobeachievedbyaproducttodemonstratefitnessforpurposeinaparticularapplication.Theclassesandlevelsrequiredforagivenapplicationaretobefoundinregulationsornon-conflictingstandards.Forapplicationswherethermalresistanceisrequired,productswithadeclaredthermalresistancelowerthan0,25m2?K/Woradeclaredthermalconductivitygreaterthan0,060W/(m?K)arenotcoveredbythisstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotcoverinsituinsulationproductsandproductsintendedtobeusedfortheinsulationofbuildings,ofbuildingequipmentandindustrialinstallationsorproductsintendedforacousticinsulation.
