【摘要】:Architecturalstripsealsincludedinthisspecificationshallbethose:Extrudedasamembrane,Extrudedastubular,Withframes,Withflangesmechanicallysecured,Withflangeschemicallysecured,Usedininteriororexteriorapplications,andUsedinanyconstructionofthebuilding.Thisspecificationwillgiveusers,producers,buildingofficials,codeauthorities,andothersabasisforverifyingmaterialandperformancecharacteristicsofrepresentativespecimensundercommontestconditions.Thisspecificationwillproducedataonthefollowing:Thephysicalpropertiesofthefullycuredelastomericalloy,andThemovementcapabilityinrelationtothenominaljointwidthasdefinedunderTestMethodE1399.Thisspecificationcomparessimilararchitecturalstripsealsbutisnotintendedtoreflectthesystem''sapplication.x201C;Similarx201D;referstothesametypeofarchitecturalstripsealwithinthesamesubsectionunder9.1.Thisspecificationdoesnotprovideinformationonthefollowing:Durabilityofthearchitecturalstripsealunderactualserviceconditions,includingtheeffectsofcycledtemperatureonthestripseal;Loadingcapabilityofthesystemandtheeffectsofaloadonthefunctionalparametersestablishedbythisspecification;Shearandrotationalmovementsofthespecimen;Anyotherattributesofthespecimen,suchasfireresistance,wearresistance,chemicalresistance,airinfiltration,watertightness,andsoforth;andNote38212;Thisspecificationaddressesfullycuredelastomericalloys.TestMethodsD395,D573,D1052,andD1149aretestsbettersuitedforevaluatingthermosetmaterials.Testingorcompatibilityofsubstrates.Thisspecificationisintendedtobeusedasonlyoneelementintheselectionofanarchitecturalstripsealforaparticularapplication.Itisnotintendedasanindependentpassorfailacceptanceprocedure.Otherstandardsshallbeusedinconjunctionwiththisspecificationtoevaluatetheimportanceofotherserviceconditionssuchasdurability,structuralloading,andcompatibility.1.1Thisspecificationcoversthephysicalrequirementsforthefullycuredelastomericalloyandthemovementcapabilitiesofpreformedarchitecturalcompressionsealsusedforsealingexpansionjointsinbuildingsandparkingstructures.Thepreformedarchitecturalstripsealisanelastomericextrusion.Thisextrusioniseitheramembraneortubularhavinganinternalbafflesystemproducedcontinuouslyandlongitudinallythroughoutthematerial.Theseextrusionsaresecuredinoroverajointbylockingrailsoranenddamnosingmaterial.Thearchitecturalstripsealiscompressedandexpandedbythismechanicalorchemicalattachment.Note18212;MovementcapabilityisdefinedinTestMethodE1399.1.2Thisspecificationcoversallcolorsofarchitecturalstripseals.Note28212;Theproductsdescribedinthisspecificationaremanufacturedfromthermoplasticelastomersdefinedas
